South Africa, Salvage Yard.

Though called a "yard," it looked more like an abandoned ship graveyard. The surroundings were desolate, with several massive tankers stranded in the mudflats.

However, one of these tankers seemed to have been converted into a gigantic factory. Inside, it was brightly lit and bustling with activity.

Guns and missiles of all makes and models were piled high in the hold, being packaged and transferred by workers to be sold to armed factions around the world.

Yes, this was an arms smuggler's warehouse.

And the headquarters of the black market arms dealer, Ulysses Klaue.

At this moment, Ulysses was sitting in his office, holding a satellite phone and cursing loudly at the person on the other end, completely disregarding his image.

"Get lost! If this shipment is going to Florida, then that's the price! If you're broke, don't play revolutionary!"

"Don't mention Aurantius to me! If you're so capable, go place an order with them! I'd like to see if the little master of the Aurantius family will ship to you!"

"Idiots!"

With a bang, Ulysses slammed the phone down onto the table.

The world was in chaos lately. Even though he had multiplied the prices of all his stock several times over, buyers were still fighting tooth and nail for them.

With no shortage of sales, he couldn't be bothered to show any kindness to these small-time buyers who came knocking.

His real worry was where he could source more advanced weaponry.

Aurantius, Aurantius!

Should I just hijack a shipment of Aurantius's goods? They recently acquired Hammer Industries' assets. Robbing Aurantius's main factories might be tough, but what about the old Hammer production lines?

Having hung up the phone, Ulysses schemed silently. His methods of acquiring stock were never limited to buying and manufacturing.

However, just then, the hum of the generator in the converted ship hold suddenly died. Immediately after, all the lights went out.

The workers below instantly fell into chaos.

Alarm bells rang in Ulysses's mind. He stood up immediately, carefully reaching for the pistol on his desk.

But...

Whoosh~ Whoosh~

Two streaks of silver-white light, barely visible to the naked eye, flashed by. Ulysses felt a light shove on his chest, sending him stumbling back several steps before he fell back into his chair.

And the pistol he had been reaching for was now in the hands of a white-haired young man who had suddenly appeared before him.

"Superpowered individuals?"

Looking at the pair of young men and women who had suddenly appeared, Ulysses's initial tension actually relaxed.

He leaned back casually, adopting the posture of a master in his own domain.

"HYDRA? Or visitors from another dimension? Whatever~ doesn't matter. But you don't look like you're here to make a deal~"

As he spoke, Ulysses even reached out to grab a candy from the bowl on his desk.

This series of abnormal behaviors left Wanda and Pietro, who were on their first mission, exchanging bewildered glances.

But before Ulysses could continue his monologue...

Another person walked through the door.

This 'weirdo,' wearing a device resembling night-vision goggles on her head, pressed a switch on her helmet the moment she appeared.

A purple beam shot out from the helmet, hitting Ulysses as he sat in his chair.

He froze instantly, stuck in the pose of smiling and holding the candy, completely motionless.

"Why are you two wasting time talking to him? We're not here to do business with this guy!"

Raina, wearing the portable mind-control device, rolled her eyes at the Maximoff siblings and complained helplessly.

"Why did the boss send two rookies like you on this mission!"

However, without Quicksilver's speed, she indeed couldn't have reached Ulysses so easily to control him.

So after complaining, Raina ignored the somewhat dazed siblings and walked gracefully up to the glassy-eyed Ulysses.

She placed a finger on his forehead. Within moments, she had the information she wanted.

"Intel acquired. The Vibranium is indeed on this ship. The combat team can move in!"

After speaking, Raina turned to Wanda and Pietro, crooked her finger, and said softly.

"Let's go get the Vibranium. Leave the militants to the company's assault team."

At the same time, explosions suddenly rang out around the abandoned tanker.

Heavily armed Aurantius soldiers poured rapidly into the ship's hold through the breached openings.

However, strangely enough, although these Aurantius 'Security Department' combatants were armed to the teeth and even wore armor resembling muscle-enhancement suits...

They rarely had the chance to engage the enemy personally.

Each combat member was accompanied by two humanoid robots and seven or eight hovering drones.

The vast majority of the combat was resolved swiftly by these mechanical devices.

These fully armed combatants looked more like frontline war correspondents? Or perhaps human control consoles and commanders.

Of course, regardless of appearance...

Combat units of this level were an overwhelming force against the mercenaries who were still relying on AKs and "spray and pray" tactics.

Soon, all resistance was eliminated.

Raina and the siblings brought the mind-controlled Ulysses to the secret chamber where he hid the Vibranium.

"Open it!"

Raina commanded softly. Ulysses immediately stepped forward stiffly to input the password and scan his iris.

With the sound of mechanisms unlocking, rows of neatly stacked canisters of liquid Vibranium finally appeared before them.

Seeing this, joy appeared on the faces of Wanda and the others. Raina re-established communication and reported to Luca.

"Boss, we have the Vibranium! What do you plan to do with this Ulysses Klaue?"

On the other end, Luca was in his own mechanical workshop in Sokovia, banging and clanking as he assembled a device that somewhat resembled a wheelchair.

Receiving the call, he didn't stop his work and instructed in a flat tone.

"You and Wanda work together. Dig all his channels and funds out of his head first."

"The company happens to be planning a few new sanatoriums recently. I'm sure Mr. Ulysses would be very happy to donate some love to Sokovia's medical services."

"As for the person, no need to bring him back. The current Sokovia doesn't need any arms smugglers!"

After speaking, Luca hung up directly and continued tinkering with the 'wheelchair' in front of him.

Back at the scene, Raina and the others nodded in understanding.

But before they could make a move...

BOOM——

A massive explosion erupted.

On the abandoned tanker where the battle had supposedly ended, a new explosion tore through the silence.
