They were alone in the office again. Xu Su sat up straight and looked out the window at the darkening sky. "It's already dark. Are you done with work? I want to go home."
"Alright," Shen Chen nodded, saying very naturally, "Let's go grab a bite first, then we'll head back."
Xu Su's lips parted slightly. She wanted to say something but couldn't find a reason to object, so she could only nod in the end.
She had just stood up when Shen Chen pointed to the three scripts on the coffee table—the ones she had gone through and set aside. "The fruits of your afternoon's labor. Aren't you going to do something about them?"
"..." Xu Su hesitated, then bent down to pick up the scripts from the table and handed them to him. "I think these three are pretty good. Do you want to take a look?"
