"..." A light sweat broke out on Xu Su's forehead. 'I really put my foot in my mouth,' she thought. She quickly forced a dry laugh. "What are you talking about? Did I say something? You must have misheard. I didn't say a thing."
"No, you did…" Shen Chen's fingertips, resting on the car window, tapped lightly. It seemed he had finally figured out what she meant, and a vein in his temple began to throb.
