"I do!" Claire Sinclair immediately walked over and sat down across from him.
Adrian Quincy looked up abruptly, his eyes meeting hers. "Tomorrow, we're going to the Aethelgard Police Department to file a report."
"File a report? For what?"
"It's hard to say if she's really been kidnapped. We'll have the police intervene first, then see what those people do next."
Claire Sinclair couldn't resist asking, "If they grabbed the impostor, are you going to rescue her?"
Adrian Quincy nodded. "Not only will I rescue her, but I need her to keep playing the part of my mother for a while longer."
Claire Sinclair didn't quite understand what he meant. "Why would you do that?" she asked.
Adrian Quincy looked at his wife's innocent face. He hated to do it, but he told her the truth anyway.
"More and more unknown forces will try to interfere in the future. Since I still haven't found my real mother's whereabouts, my only option is to turn this into an offensive move."
