Claire Sinclair glanced down at his hand and warned, "Mr. Kingsley, please behave yourself."
Ethan Kingsley's eyes narrowed slightly, and he abruptly let go of her hand.
Only then did Claire Sinclair say, "I don't have any ulterior motives. I just know Ivy Tanner has been miserable, and as long as I can make her smile again, I'll do whatever she asks of me."
Ethan Kingsley frowned. "Why are you so concerned about her?"
Claire Sinclair smiled. "Because everyone around you wants her dead, and I can't just stand by and watch."
