Adrian Quincy hung up the phone, an irrepressible smile spreading across his lips. He excitedly hugged his wife. "Claire, my mother's been rescued."
"That's wonderful!" Claire Sinclair also smiled in excitement.
'Now that his mother has been rescued, I can finally clear my name after enduring all this slander. The issue he's been worried about for so long can finally be resolved, and we can start getting rid of the people who are threatening us!'
'This is absolutely wonderful!'
Just then, Helen Wallace and Faye Dean walked over from another area.
The 4D color ultrasound was more time-consuming. Faye Dean's appointment, however, was just a routine check-up, so she had finished quickly.
Claire Sinclair immediately asked, "Faye, how did it go?"
Faye Dean chuckled. "Everything's normal! My mom was right—as long as we eat and drink properly, the baby will be fine."
Claire Sinclair smiled. "Everything's normal with me, too."
