「On the balcony.」
Ethan Kingsley rested both hands on the railing, gazing out at the pitch-black cityscape. The darkness seemed to swallow the profound look in his eyes, making his emotions impossible to read.
It wasn't until he heard footsteps behind him that he reined in some of the coldness in his dark eyes.
Adrian Quincy came to his side, placing one hand on the railing. He stared straight ahead as if admiring a breathtaking view.
Ethan Kingsley furrowed his brow slightly. "Shouldn't you be with your wife? What are you doing out here?"
Adrian Quincy continued to stare ahead, his tone indifferent. "Lucas Rhodes marrying Ivy Tanner is bothering you."
Ethan Kingsley chuckled. "Is the Eldest Young Master Quincy interested in my love life now?"
Adrian Quincy's expression remained unchanged, his tone just as flat. "Lucas Rhodes is a good man. At least Ivy Tanner won't be mistreated with him."
