When Theo Rhodes walked in, Claire Sinclair's computer was still playing the shocking revelation.
Claire Sinclair sat before the computer with a grim expression. She would normally have been asleep by this time, but right now, she wasn't the least bit tired.
Theo Rhodes walked up behind her and said softly, "Master."
Claire Sinclair turned around and said in a low voice, "Thanks for your hard work."
Theo Rhodes scratched his head, smiling sheepishly. "Master, about all that baseless slander I was spouting about you earlier... don't take it to heart."
Claire Sinclair shook her head gently. "It was all part of the plan. I don't mind. It's late. You should go home and rest."
"Master, aren't you going to sleep?"
"I need to calm down."
Theo Rhodes simply pulled out a chair and sat down across from her. "I can't sleep right now either. How about I keep you company and we can chat?"
Claire Sinclair nodded but said nothing.
