Before Claire Sinclair could speak, Theo Rhodes impatiently cut in, "President Marshall, enough with the nonsense. Just take us there. We're in a hurry."
"Alright, alright, let's head out now. Follow me." As he spoke, Director Marshall's eyes remained fixed on Claire Sinclair, never once glancing at Theo Rhodes. He was terrified that angering her would make this deal fall through.
Naturally, Claire Sinclair wouldn't give a man like him the time of day. She maintained a stern expression the entire time, only dropping the cold mask once she was back in her car.
Theo Rhodes said eagerly, "Master, you were so cool just now! That Marshall guy was trying to suck up to you, and you completely ignored him. HAHAHA..."
Claire Sinclair shot him a look. "I just don't like talking to people like that."
