This was the first time since getting married that Claire Sinclair would be away from home for so long, and her heart ached at the thought. She hadn't even left yet, but she was already missing the man at Quincy Manor, the one who worked himself to the bone.
Claire Sinclair stared at her phone for a good long while, completely at a loss for how to bring it up. Finally, she just sent him a text: Mr. Quincy, are you coming home tonight?
Adrian Quincy: I have something on tonight.
Your Claire: Then let me come to Quincy Manor and keep you company tonight.
Adrian Quincy: What's the matter?
Your Claire: It's nothing. I just want to give you a proper goodbye.
