When Adrian Quincy returned from his call, he saw her curled up in a corner, her body wracked with sobs. Her tear-streaked face held a despair he had never witnessed before.
"Claire!" His heart twisted in agony. He rushed over and pulled her fiercely into his arms. "It's alright. We're still young. We'll have another child."
