Seeing how awkward and shy she looked, the pharmacist felt she had to give her some advice:
"Young lady, taking too many of these pills is really bad for your body. It can even cause infertility in serious cases. After you take this one, go tell your boyfriend to remember to wear a condom next time. It's a good way to prevent all sorts of STDs, and it's especially effective against AIDS. Do you want to buy a box of condoms while you're at it?"
After hearing all that, Claire Sinclair felt like her head was about to explode.
There were a few guys in the pharmacy, and from the way they were looking at her, you'd think she was a prostitute.
For any woman, a look like that is a deep humiliation...
Claire Sinclair's expression darkened. "I asked you for the morning-after pill, so just get it," she said irritably. "Why are you talking so much?"
