Yuri Sinclair couldn't bear to see her so conflicted. She clearly wanted to swim, but felt she had to hold back for his sake. He finally spoke up softly, "If you want to have fun, then go. I can't guarantee you'll get another chance like this."
"Huh?" Ashley Bowen's head snapped up at his words, and she glanced at Yuri Sinclair.
'What does he mean, no chance in the future?'
"Aaron's here to keep me company. You can go." Yuri Sinclair picked up the orange juice on the table and took another sip.
"Mm." Ashley Bowen nodded and finally got to her feet. She waved to Yuri Sinclair and ran toward the trio over by the water.
She jogged lightly across the sand, glancing back every few steps at the man sitting by the table on the man-made beach. Seeing him give her a small smile, she returned it, then turned to face the ocean.
The sea was churning with waves. The first one that crashed ashore swept in and nearly knocked her off balance.
