"The Royal Academy does have students who get in through connections, but I want you to rely on your own merits. Do you understand?"
Yuri Sinclair looked at Ashley Bowen, who stood frozen in place. He spoke coolly as he twirled the pen in his hand, capped it, and tossed it into the holder.
He wheeled himself out from behind the desk and moved toward the nearby sofa and coffee table. "Let's eat first."
"Okay..." Ashley Bowen turned and walked toward the red leather sofa.
She had no idea that Yuri Sinclair had used his influence to get her into the Royal Academy. He had even arranged for Howard to return specifically to be her tutor. Even he himself, the vice principal who only visited the school once every few months, had made a rare appearance, spending the entire morning on campus.
Ashley Bowen was oblivious, taking it all for granted.
Just as the two of them were seated, someone pushed the door open, wheeling in a serving cart.
