The class bell rang.
Students are terrified of teachers, to say nothing of the principal and the dean of students. They all sat ramrod straight, not daring to so much as shift in their seats, terrified of suddenly attracting the "attention" of the faculty present.
Seeing the students were even more nervous than she was, Holly Winslow couldn't help but laugh to herself. She then stood confidently at the lectern and began the lesson. "Class, last time, Mr. Langdon went over the criteria for determining if lines and planes are parallel."
"Would any student like to stand and review the criteria for determining if two planes are parallel?"
This class's academic performance was quite good, and several students raised their hands. She called on a girl in the front row.
The girl answered, "If two intersecting lines on one plane are both parallel to another plane, then the two planes are parallel."
