Mortimer Quincy deftly caught the pillow, pretending not to hear his wife's words. He quickly got into bed, wrapped his arms around her, and said sweetly, "I'm not going. The study will disrupt the harmony of our married life."

'In my last life, we slept in separate rooms for three days because of his secret stash of money. The aftermath was me having to take a "sick" day for a whole morning.'
At this thought, she pinched his chest. "It's already been affected. I have absolutely no desire for you anymore."
Mortimer let his wife, who was saying the opposite of what she meant, pinch him. He then pulled the covers over them both. "It's okay. Your husband's desire is as strong as it ever was."
