He gave a nervous cough. "Uncle Winslow, I'll be going now."
"Wait a minute." Wyatt Winslow pursed his lips, went inside, and quickly came back out carrying something. He handed it to Mortimer. "Go on home."
Just then, Holly Winslow poked her head out the door and explained on her father's behalf, saying with a giggle, "It's a graduation present from my dad. Quick, thank Dad." After saying that, she pulled her head back in.
The way the girl's head popped in and out was like a whack-a-mole.
Though she was much cuter than a mole.
Mortimer couldn't help but smile. He went along with Holly Winslow's words and said, "Thanks, Dad."
