The moment Holly Winslow walked out of the exam hall, she spotted Wyatt Winslow in the crowd. It was noon, and the sun was scorching. He wasn't holding an umbrella, and tiny beads of sweat had formed on his forehead.
Her eyes had been stinging a lot lately.
Wyatt Winslow didn't ask how her exam went, simply leading her to the car.
The air conditioning was already on inside, and the temperature was just right.
Holly Winslow opened the lunchbox. Inside were two meat dishes, a vegetable dish, and a bottle of milk.
Seeing her hesitate, Wyatt Winslow thought she didn't like the food. He pressed his lips together. "Just make do for now. After your exams are over, I'll take you out for a nice meal."
