Xue Yue glared at him. "Get outta here. No way. He Lang, when I said I'd reward you, I meant I'd cook you something nice. Don't push your luck."
He Lang raised an eyebrow. "How about this? I'll take you out for a nice meal, save you the trouble of cooking, and then we'll go over to Binhe Bay tonight."
'He just won't give up, will he?'
Xue Yue immediately tried to get off He Lang's lap, but he pulled her back into his arms.
Xue Yue pouted. "What are you doing? I still have to work. Stop bothering me."
He Lang patted Xue Yue's butt. "You little heartless thing. Who do you think I did all this for? Do you have any idea how much trouble I went through this morning just to come see you? I finally managed to make myself look impressive enough, but then my hair got all messed up on the motorcycle. I had to spend ages fixing it again at the entrance."
Xue Yue looked at He Lang's shiny, slicked-back hair and couldn't help but laugh again.
