June Lowe instinctively wanted to refuse, but Mad Feng tried to persuade her again. "There's nothing to be done if your mom is scared; she'll just have to get used to it. I'm going back to Capria in a few days. If she has another episode, how will you manage on your own? I'll find you a strong, live-in housekeeper to make things easier for you."
After a moment's thought, June Lowe nodded. In the past, she and her father had always cared for her mother together. When her mother had an episode, she wouldn't even recognize June, trusting only her father. He was the only one who could calm her down.
Now that her father was gone, she truly couldn't handle her mother by herself. Getting a housekeeper would be a good idea, but... 'It means I'll have to spend Uncle Ye's money again.'
The ever-observant Winston Lowell immediately piped up, "Leave the housekeeper to me! I'll make sure she has a clean background, is honest and obedient, and won't steal."
