"You don't remember me? We met at Tristone Hospital. I even asked you for directions," the eccentric man reminded her with a smile.
Rosalind Green finally remembered. "Oh, it's you!" she said, pleasantly surprised. "What a coincidence."
The eccentric man gave a small smile, but inwardly he was ecstatic. 'This is no coincidence,' he thought. 'It's a match made in heaven. Our fated connection is so deep we'd find each other even if separated by mountains and rivers.'
Will couldn't take it anymore. He nudged his boss's hand. If the man squeezed any harder, Will's hand was sure to break. But the nudge did more harm than good; the eccentric boss just gripped his hand even tighter. Will covered his mouth to stifle a cry of pain and turned his back, shedding a tear in solitude.
'If I'd known she was the one the boss had his eye on, I never would have been drooling over her,' he lamented. 'A buddy's girl is off-limits. I can't even let myself think about the boss's woman!'
