Leona Grant fell in love with Annabelle Linton, and Annabelle reconciled with him. And just like that, they were together.
But she, in her efforts to tear them apart, had resorted to all sorts of schemes and manipulations, even stooping to poisoning them.
The moment she poisoned them was, honestly, quite satisfying. But what followed was endless self-mockery.
She never thought the only way to break them up would be poison. And for the sake of Leona Grant's health, Annabelle Linton had resolved to leave him.
Although she showed nothing on the surface, she still found it quite laughable.
She had spent her own time, energy, and emotions only to witness and, ironically, facilitate their profound relationship. Their unwavering devotion, so deep and true, made her own efforts seem like a complete joke.
