The two of them finished their meal in silence. Annabelle Linton didn't eat much; between her habit of only eating until she was about seventy percent full and her lack of appetite, she barely took more than a couple of bites.
Watching her barely eat, Leona Grant couldn't help but frown. She placed several helpings of food into Annabelle's bowl. "You're still sick. You need to eat more, or your body won't be able to recover."
Annabelle Linton took her bowl back and ate another portion, as if she were completing a chore.
