"No!"
Annabelle Linton stared at him, her eyes unblinking and devoid of any emotion. "Leona Grant, no one asked you to come here. Can't you tell I ran this far just to get away from you? Why can't you just stay away from me?!"
Leona Grant pressed his lips together, staring at her fixedly. A flash of hurt and pain crossed his eyes.
He knew she was annoyed with him, and he knew she didn't want to see him.
'But what am I supposed to do?'
He would miss her like crazy when he couldn't see her. Not being able to hear her voice made him miserable.
'I don't want to be like this either.'
Leona Grant closed his eyes for a moment. He didn't want to fight with Annabelle Linton.
The gentle Aaron Wyatt standing before him was a constant threat, and he didn't want to make Annabelle Linton hate him.
Leona Grant sighed, his tone holding a plea and helplessness that even he didn't realize was there. "Annabelle Linton, can we please not be like this? I don't want to fight with you."
