'Hasn't he gone too far? How could he just mess with my phone? Who does he think he is?'

Ronan Joyce met her fiery gaze and said nonchalantly.
Last night, when he brought her phone over and put it on the table, he'd accidentally pressed a button. A close-up photo of her, cheek-to-cheek with another man, had appeared on the screen. He was so furious he almost smashed the phone to pieces.
He didn't care about privacy anymore. He'd swiped open the screen, found her photo album, and decided to change it. While he was at it, he checked to see if there were any other pictures of her with that man. If there were, he would delete them all.
Thankfully, there was only that one photo of them together. Most of the other pictures were of Cheryl Nash, with a few of Lara and Cheryl together. The little girl was making all sorts of silly faces, being mischievous, or showing her back to the camera. His expression softened unconsciously as he slowly scrolled through them.
