Lara Nash glanced at the woman on TV. Her makeup was cold and glamorous, and she had a distant air about her. Facing the media's questions, she maintained a smile but was a woman of few words, answering only "yes" or "no."
She knew who this woman was: Sarah Sutton, the head of the Sutton Group and Felix Draper's ex-wife.
'But why is it,' she wondered, 'that even though Naomi Shaw is wishing me and Mason Thorne true love, I just feel so down and not the least bit happy?'
Lara was stewing in her own misery when she heard Naomi exclaim beside her, "Oh my god, how could this happen? Why would Sarah agree to film a commercial with *that* woman?"
Lara's thoughts were pulled back to the TV screen. At some point, a girl with long, flowing hair and a fresh, pure aura had appeared next to Sarah Sutton. The two of them were now taking questions from a crowd of reporters.
