A faint smile played on Amelia Avery's lips. "He's very good to me." 'So good that I don't know what to do. So good that I can't help but hide under the covers and sob my heart out in the middle of the night.'

"That's good to hear. Congratulations on finally marrying the man you love."
"It's wonderful. Marrying him is the happiest thing that's ever happened to me." As she said this, the smile on Amelia Avery's lips was one of undisguised joy. What she didn't realize was that to an outsider, that same joy was tinged with a hint of sorrow.
Tiana Grayson, still worried, couldn't help but ask, "Amelia, is something on your mind?"
