The next day, when Tiana Grayson woke up, the first thing she saw was Leo Joyce's handsome face.
He was lying on his side, his eyes fixed on her without blinking, as if he were afraid she would run away.
She wasn't quite used to this sudden intimacy. Discreetly, she shifted away from him and forced a smile that looked more pained than a grimace. "Morning!"
"Mm, morning!" Leo Joyce had noticed her subtle movement and smiled dotingly.
"When did you wake up?" Leo Joyce's intense gaze made her feel a little uncomfortable, as if she had been watched for a very, very long time.
Leo Joyce lowered his head slightly and said with a lighthearted laugh, "Not long. Just before you woke up."
"Oh." 'Was it just my imagination? Why do I feel like someone's been staring at me?'
Seeing that she didn't press the issue, the unease in Leo Joyce's eyes faded. He leaned over Tiana Grayson. "Waking up and seeing you lying next to me... it feels so good. So blissful."
