"I'm his girlfriend." Jasmine Warren was reluctant to answer, but she also couldn't bring herself to tell this woman that she and Jason Lockwood weren't really together. That's right, she was being selfish. Even though she knew this woman probably had no connection to Jason, she still wanted to cling to the title of girlfriend.
The answer clearly took the woman by surprise. She furrowed her delicate brow, studying Jasmine Warren for a long moment before smiling and nodding. "Good. Now that Jason's in trouble, it's good that he still has a girlfriend who won't leave his side."
The casual way the woman referred to Jason Lockwood irritated Jasmine Warren. Her expression turned cold. "If there's nothing else, I'll be going."
She didn't like it when any woman brought up Jason Lockwood in front of her.
Especially beautiful ones. She didn't like them. She really didn't like them at all.
Perhaps it was her own lack of confidence that made her dislike beautiful women.
