Seeing him silent and motionless, her heart twisted in knots. "Say something! Did you do it or not?" As she screamed the words, tears streamed down her face.
Perhaps her voice was too shrill, or perhaps he couldn't bear to hear her cry. Whatever the reason, the man was pulled back from his thoughts. He lifted his eyes, glanced at her coldly, and curled his lip in a sneer. "Is there any point in asking that now?"
