Aiden Avery set down his teacup, his tone equally grim. "Don't hold back. We'll all be your staunchest supporters!"
Archie Lockwood was overwhelmed by a storm of emotions. He didn't know what words could possibly describe how he felt.
Ian Shaw was willing to help him because of Tristan Grayson, but he never expected Aiden Avery to offer his help as well. He and Aiden were practically strangers.
'But then again,' he thought, 'it makes sense. The Avery and Grayson families are close, and Aiden Avery and Tristan Grayson grew up like brothers. As long as Tristan gives the word, his friends would naturally step in to help.'
When Archie Lockwood remained silent, Aiden Avery spoke again, his voice cold. "The Avery family, after all, carries some weight in Tridell. If we all really put our minds to taking down Jason Lockwood, it wouldn't be an impossible task."
