Jason Lockwood pulled a hand from his pocket, aimed it at Archie Lockwood's back, and commanded coldly, "Stand still!"
Howard Rhodes immediately spotted the small pistol in Jason Lockwood's hand. He quickly aimed his own weapon at Jason and said sharply, "Boss, he's got a gun!"
Before Archie Lockwood could turn around, Jason Lockwood spoke. "You've seen Rory. Now, where's the information I asked for?"
"Louise Jordan, give him the files!"
"Yes, sir," Louise Jordan replied coldly. Keeping her gun raised with one hand, she offered the files to Jason Lockwood with the other. She seemed to be deliberately slowing her pace, as if waiting for her boss to have his daughter back in his arms.
Archie Lockwood had only taken a couple of steps when his phone vibrated twice in his pocket. He felt it, and a faint smile touched his lips as he strode toward the man holding Rory. At the same time, Louise Jordan arrived in front of Jason Lockwood.
