Seeing Leo Joyce down his drink so readily, Amelia Avery didn't hesitate, tilting her head back and drinking as well.
Once he finished the bottle, Leo Joyce lifted his hand and violently smashed it on the ground.
Amelia Avery faltered mid-drink, but only for a second. She quickly resumed chugging the alcohol down.
When she finished, she tossed the bottle aside onto the floor. Her lips curled into a desolate smile. "So, spit it out. You're this furious today… are you planning on ending our friendship?"
"Amelia Avery! I brought you here today to get the old Amelia Avery back!"
"The old Amelia Avery is dead!" Amelia Avery clenched her fists, her voice sharp as she cut Leo Joyce off.
Leo Joyce let out a derisive laugh. "Heh, dead? If she were really dead, that would be for the best." 'If she were truly dead, I wouldn't have to feel this miserable…'
"But she *is* dead, and we can't go back to the past." 'When had the Leo Joyce of the past ever treated her like this?'
