With that, Jessica Archer left the hospital room.
Mika Summers was left alone in the room. Emotionally drained, she lay on the bed and closed her eyes.
She didn't know how long she lay there, but eventually, her emotions began to settle.
She sat up, threw back the covers, and got out of bed to go see Silas Kent.
When she reached the ICU, Jessica Archer shot her a cold glance before turning and leaving immediately.
Her expression was pained as she walked to the hospital bed. She sat on the edge of it, gazing silently at Silas Kent.
Her eyes were filled with sorrow. 'Jessica Archer was right. Silas Kent saved my life. If he hadn't rescued me back then, I probably would have been dead long ago.'
'Everything I have now is because of him. Without Silas Kent, there would be no Mika Summers today.'
'Jessica Archer has every right to be angry. But I can't use my feelings as a way to repay him…'
