Maggie Monroe rubbed her arm, her smile growing more sinister. "Miss Summers, you stole my man, stole what was rightfully mine. And you still want to keep holding on to him? Life doesn't work that way."
"I don't know what you're talking about." 'When did I ever steal anything from her?'
"Oh, you'll understand. You'll understand very soon." Maggie Monroe sneered, raising her hand to lunge at Mika.
Mika Summers grabbed a nearby pillow to block the attack, her whole body trembling. "You lunatic! What are you doing?! I don't even know you!"
"Don't know me? But you know Tristan Grayson, don't you? Mika Summers, do you really believe you're the one he loves? Let me tell you, that's impossible. As long as I'm around, Tristan will never, ever love you." Having missed Mika with the needle, Maggie was now utterly crazed.
