The servers heard her and didn't dare move, all looking toward Father Miao.
Father Miao nodded, and only then did the staff file out of the living room in an orderly fashion.
"Daughter, it's rare for you to come home. Your mother and I are overjoyed, and it's been a long time since you've seen your relatives. It's wonderful that you thought to have the whole family get together."
"Let me make some introductions. This is your Uncle, and this is your Auntie... This is your Second Uncle from your third great-aunt's side..."
Father Miao glanced around at the relatives with a hint of pride, introducing them one by one to Miao Miaomiao and Zhao Rui.
After all, some of these relatives were from distant side-branches of the family. If Miao Miaomiao hadn't insisted that everyone come, they wouldn't have been qualified to sit in the main hall.
Miao Miaomiao simply nodded at each of them in greeting, her expression showing little joy.
