When Zhu Yu Run opened her eyes, she knew something was terribly wrong.
Her round little eyes stared at the "behemoth" in front of her. Her thoughts lagged for a few seconds, her mind a complete blank.
She sniffled, only to realize her voice didn't sound right.
Her eyes darted downward.
The next second, a bloodcurdling squeal echoed from the pigpen—
A woman rushed in, muttering, "What's going on? Did she give birth to the piglets?"
The world went dark before Zhu Yu Run's eyes.
She lay on the sow's soft belly, having lost all will to live.
Until a pair of small hands picked her up.
A childish laugh followed.
"This little pig is so cute!"
Zhu Yu Run's chubby little body trembled. She squirmed and shrieked.
'Unhand me! How rude! The audacity! How dare you disrespect the Da Ming Princess!'
The woman said worriedly, "This piglet might be sick. We should throw it out."
It was a bolt from the blue for Zhu Yu Run.
Her little trotters stopped moving.
