When Zhu Yu Run opened her eyes, she knew something was terribly wrong.
Her round little eyes stared at the "behemoth" in front of her. Her thoughts lagged for a few seconds, her mind a complete blank.
She sniffled, only to find that her voice wasn't right.
Her eyes glanced down.
The next second, a blood-curdling squeal echoed from the pigpen—
A woman rushed in, muttering, "What's going on? Did she have her piglets?"
Zhu Yu Run's world went dark.
She lay on the sow's soft belly, having lost all will to live.
Until a pair of small hands picked her up.
A childish laugh followed.
"This little pig is so cute!"
Zhu Yu Run's chubby little body trembled as she thrashed and squealed.
'Let go of me! How rude! The audacity! How dare you disrespect the Da Ming Princess!'
The woman said worriedly, "This piglet might be sick. We should throw it out."
It was like a bolt from the blue for Zhu Yu Run.
Her little trotters stopped moving.
