Because inside this monster's body... was another it!
It was a pudgy, pink little piglet with two adorably dazed-looking ears and perfectly round, glistening eyes. It was impossibly cute.
Zhu Yu Run mustered her courage and stealthily sidled up to the man again. She stretched out a soft little trotter and carefully poked at his clothes.
'These clothes are so strange.'
'They don't look like clothes from the Great Ming Dynasty at all.'
Seeing no reaction from the man, the little piglet clung to his leg, hind trotters flailing wildly in the air. Finally, after crossing mountains and seas, she managed to climb onto his thigh.
Fu Xian was absorbed in typing on his phone, his slender, elegant fingers tapping lightly on the glowing screen. All of a sudden, a tiny pig face popped out from under his phone. The little piglet's eyes sparkled as it looked at him, a soft, floppy little thing perched on his lap.
'...Just like a little puppy.'
