Liuu Yuming was about to agree when she heard Tan You speak. "Take Liuu Jun with you. You won't be back early today."
The words were on the tip of Liuu Yuming's tongue, but she immediately changed her tune. "Auntie, let Jun come with me."
Her aunt didn't think much of it. "Alright, have him go with you. We worry about you coming home so late all by yourself."
Liuu Jun was only twenty and still had a youthful spirit. He immediately wheeled his dad's old 28-inch roadster out of the house and went with Liuu Yuming to the factory.
After arriving at the factory, Liuu Yuming went about her work as usual, while Liuu Jun helped out a little on the packaging line. Country kids, unless they were particularly spoiled at home, almost always knew how to find work to do.
They stayed busy like this until six in the evening, when Mr. Liu's daughter finally arrived at the factory. She had to finish her own workday first, after all.
