Xia Mo never imagined that the person she once considered a failure would become so dazzling. Even just standing there quietly, she was the focus of everyone's attention.
Xia Mo had to admit, Ji Li made her feel a sense of urgency. That was why she had taken the initiative to contact Wen Zhe.
"I just saw a video of Ji Li. Have you seen it?" Xia Mo asked hesitantly, not even sure what answer she wanted to hear.
"Ji Li?" Wen Zhe frowned slightly, then lied instinctively. "No, we haven't been in touch for a long time. What's she up to now?"
"I'm not sure. Maybe I was mistaken." Xia Mo breathed a sigh of relief. It was good that Wen Zhe hadn't seen it. But that was immediately followed by a pang of anxiety. 'Why am I relieved that he hasn't seen Ji Li?'
