One of the vendors grabbed a handful of vegetables and tried to give them to Leng Yuan.
"Young man, thank you. Thank you all."
As he spoke, he stuffed handfuls of his remaining vegetables into the hands of each staff member.
"These vegetables aren't worth much. I grew them myself. If you don't mind, please take them home to eat."
'He wouldn't dare go back to sell vegetables again anyway, and he still had more at home. He might as well just give some away.'
The other two vendors followed his lead, trying to press their goods on the group. Leng Yuan received the most.
Seeing how simple and honest the vendors were, the staff members didn't dare accept the gifts. In the end, one of them simply took out some money and bought the items instead.
The others did the same, stuffing money into the three vendors' hands before hurriedly leaving, afraid they would try to return it.
The three vendors' eyes grew red. "We've met good people."
'To think they'd meet so many good people here.'
