Chen JianShe got a bad feeling as Xu Wenwan stared at him.
He suddenly regretted stopping to watch the commotion.
With that thought, he turned to leave.
But Xu Wenwan suddenly rushed forward. "Chen JianShe, stop right there."
Chen JianShe scratched his head and stood his ground. He looked at Xu Wenwan and asked in confusion, "Can I help you?"
"Will you marry me?"
"W-what did you say?"
Chen JianShe thought there was something wrong with his ears.
'He didn't even know Xu Wenwan!'
'Something must be wrong. I must have misheard.' Chen JianShe couldn't help but ask again.
Seeing his dumbfounded expression, Xu Wenwan's face broke into a delicate smile. She seductively tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and asked in a soft voice, "Do you want to marry me?"
Chen JianShe was scared stiff. He scrambled back seven or eight steps until he was sure there was a safe distance between them, then spoke awkwardly.
"Miss Xu, please don't joke around."
