"Village Chief, what do you mean? Are you trying to force me to marry Xu Wenwan?" Yun Hao's words were laced with sarcasm.
It wasn't confidence; he had the means to back it up.
"Village Chief, although I am a sent-down youth, no one can force me to do something I don't want to do. And what a coincidence, a good friend of my father was just transferred to work in our county. I was just planning to pay him a visit in the next couple of days."
Village Chief Xu couldn't possibly miss the threat in Yun Hao's words.
