Gu Jiaojiao stared at the food box before her. It was made of solid wood and looked quite new, though it was a little dirty. It felt incredibly heavy when she tried to lift it.
Gu Jiaojiao couldn't help but grimace.
"Were food boxes from this era always so heavy?"
She admitted to herself that she was a bit delicate, but she should have been able to lift something that weighed thirty or forty pounds. Yet this seven-tiered food box was something she couldn't even budge.
Leng Yuan shook his head.
"We'll talk when we get back."
Gu Jiaojiao blinked, instantly understanding his meaning. When she saw the old watchman walking over, she quickly raised her voice and said,
"This food box is actually pretty nice. I'll use it to bring you meals from now on. Otherwise, whenever I bring soup, it always spills."
"Then let's buy it too."
Leng Yuan agreed casually, then carried all their items over to the old watchman.
