Sheldon Caldwell felt like Vera Xavier was going to be the death of him. As Veridia University's best female competitor, she had been doing perfectly fine, but now she was suddenly trying to back out. 'Is she just messing with me?!'
He thought for a good while before saying, "Little sis Vera..."
"Stop!" Vera Xavier felt goosebumps break out all over her body when he called her that. It was beyond disgusting. "Speak normally!"
But Sheldon Caldwell was just getting started. "Look, when you were in trouble before, I stepped up to help you without hesitation. Now, this is a matter of my reputation. If you help me, I'll... just keep calling you, 'little sis Vera, little sis Vera'..."
Vera Xavier felt she must have had eight lifetimes of bad luck to end up with such a pain-in-the-ass brother. She took a deep breath and said, "It's not impossible for me to compete in the rest of the events, but you have to agree to three conditions!"
