Leader Liu said, unconvinced, "I bet they won't even make it into the top ten!"
From a conventional standpoint, students from a university not specializing in this kind of training, like Veridia University, are generally physically weaker than our own students. It's perfectly normal for them to not achieve good results. In fact, it would be strange if they did.
Nathaniel Nathan turned to look at Leader Liu and said, "Is that so? Why don't we make a bet? If they make it into the top three, you'll give me that batch of treasures from last time, won't you?"
Leader Liu looked him up and down before saying, "Heh, you're a sly one, you are. I acquired that batch of treasures on the down-low. How did you even find out about it?"
Nathaniel gave a slight smile. He had absolutely no intention of telling Leader Liu that he'd been eyeing that batch of treasures for a long time.
