"Vera Xavier," the instructor replied.
Sheldon Caldwell paused for a moment. "Vera Xavier?"
The instructor nodded. Sheldon Caldwell curled his lip slightly. 'Heh! She really is everywhere!'
The matter was settled. After the instructors left, Sheldon Caldwell decided this was a great opportunity to annoy Nathaniel Nathan, so he gave him a call. "Some people are just so pathetic. They have a girlfriend, and their girlfriend even came to Veridia, but they can't even see her. It's just so sad!"
"Speak plainly," Nathaniel Nathan said in a low voice.
Sheldon Caldwell said cheerfully, "In plain English? You can't see your girlfriend, but I can see her every day. Let me tell you, that girlfriend of yours—pale skin, beautiful face, long legs—you drop her in a crowd and all eyes are on her. Tsk tsk, what a knockout. Here on campus, it doesn't matter if you're a student or a teacher; no one can walk away once they've seen her!"
If Vera Xavier heard him say that, she'd probably punch him.
