Vera Xavier swallowed as she watched the scene unfold. 'Good lord,' she thought. 'This isn't a fight, it's a one-sided beatdown!'
'She'd never reach his level, not even if she trained for her entire life! How was she even supposed to learn how to fight like that?'
After Nathaniel Nathan finished knocking out every robber with the steel pipe, he turned to find the entire car of passengers craning their necks to stare at him. Composed and unruffled, he took the stolen wallets from the gang leader's hand. "It's over," he said, his expression flat. "Anyone who lost money can claim it from the police later."
The words had barely left his lips when the weasel-faced man who had whistled at Vera Xavier charged him, brandishing a large blade.
A collective gasp echoed through the train car. Vera Xavier couldn't stop herself from crying out, "Watch out!"
