Vera Xavier decided to check the back row of shops. The moment she stepped out of the current one, she ran into Susan Caldwell again. Beside Susan were Skylar Crowe and Irene Jensen, as well as a shrewd-looking man in his forties. He was probably the legendary jade gambling consultant she'd heard about.
Seeing that she was empty-handed, Susan Caldwell smiled and asked, "Haven't you bought any raw stones yet?"
Skylar Crowe sneered from the side, "Look at that country bumpkin. You can tell she's completely unsophisticated. Trying to gamble on jade? How utterly embarrassing!"
Irene Jensen sighed softly. Vera Xavier wouldn't listen to her advice, and there was nothing she could do.
Vera Xavier remained silent, but Jack Judd retorted hotly, "The deadline isn't here yet, so what's the rush?"
Aaron Cheney added fiercely, "That's right! My sister-in-law knows what she's doing. She's definitely going to win this time!"
